Day 1 : Arrival at the Kigali International airport -Hotel -Relax

On arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met with a warm welcome by our company representative. Exchange some money in local currency then drive to the hotel for an overnight stay. Your professional guide driver will be at the airport ahead of time waiting for you. Transfer to the Kigali hotel and relax. Enjoy your hotel amenities. Dinner and rest.

Day 2 : Transfer to Volcanoes National Park (Musanze) (2hrs 30 mins Drive).

Wake up to your breakfast at the hotel, check out and embark on a relaxed scenic transfer to Musanze the home of Mountain Gorillas, Golden monkeys, hikes and so on. On your way going you will be having time to discover, view Rwandan Landscapes plus plains. You will meet local Rwandan people on their daily activities. You will arrive, check in, have your lunch and relax as you enjoy the property amenities, have your evening at leisure. Dinner and rest early preparing for the next day’s adventure.

Day 3 : Volcanoes National Park for Gorilla Trekking and relax

After an early breakfast, you will proceed to the home of mountain Gorillas, the Volcanoes National Park headquarters – Kinigi to meet your guides for the day. After completing the park formalities, we are embarking on a once in a life time experience of trekking mountain gorillas. Once you spot them you are allowed to spend one hour watching them do their daily activities, feeding and playing. Return to your hotel / lodge for lunch and the rest of the day spend it relaxing at the lodge. Enjoy your evening at leisure. Optional spa. Later have dinner and rest.

Day 4 : Ellen Campus Visit + Relaxation at the lodge/ spa treatment day

After breakfast at leisure, head out for the visit to the Ellen DeGeneres campus of Dian Fossey, full of her stories and research work, these are very interesting Gorilla conservation stories in this campus. Return to the lodge, stay relaxed at the lodge with full use of the lodge amenities. Go for a spa treatment of your choice. Have your meals at the lodge, later have dinner and rest.

Day 5 : Volcanoes National Park, Gorilla Trekking (2nd trek) + Relaxation.

On this day you will depart for your second Gorilla Trekking experience after breakfast just like the previous day. You will head out to observe the famous Rwandan mountain Gorillas once again in the Volcanoes National Park. You have an opportunity to visit a different Gorilla family. After your encounter, head back to the lodge, have lunch and relax the rest of the day. The rest of the evening at leisure. Enjoy the lodge’s amenities. Evening at leisure. Later have dinner and rest.

Day 6 : Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park - Relaxation.

After breakfast, you will proceed to check out then drive to Nyungwe National Park, the home of Chimpanzee and Canopy Walk adventures plus other several primates’ species. The journey passes through the beautiful terraced hillsides that characterized much of Rwanda’s landscape. Proceed to check in, have your lunch and the enjoy property amenities. In the evening relax at the lodge /hotel with views till dinner time. Rest.

Day 7 : Nyungwe Forest National Park + Chimpanzee trekking -Relax

On this day you will enjoy an early breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a thrilling hike in search of chimpanzee communities. The Rwandan chimpanzee population is thought to consist of approx. 400-500 individuals, confined to the Nyungwe National Park, including a small community in the Cyamudongo Forest. Prepare to hear these excitable primates before you see them, as their pant-hoots travel through the deep forest. During your hike you may also spot migratory birdlife including the Ross’ turaco, grey-cheeked hornbill, red-breasted sparrow hawk and regal sunbird. Return to the hotel for lunch then in the afternoon, have time by yourself to reflect on the trip so far. Relax as you use the hotel amenities. Have a swim. Evening at leisure with dinner and rest.

Day 8 : Nyungwe Forest National Park with canopy walk adventure and full afternoon relaxation

On this day you will enjoy an early breakfast at your hotel then you will proceed with the Canopy walk adventure for a thrilling experience of a suspended bridge covering 160 m through the lush montane rainforest and 70 m high from the forest floor. This is one extraordinary activity that offers a spectacular view of the ancient forest. Retire, drive to the hotel, check in and enjoy property amenities. Evening at leisure, dinner and rest.

Day 9 : Depart and transfer back to Kigali city - City tour - Relax

On this day you will enjoy an early breakfast at your hotel, then have a relaxed check out. Proceed to say goodbye to the hotel/lodge people. You will be transferred back to Kigali city, have your lunch in a nice city restaurant. Engage in a short city tour with the visit to the Gisozi Genocide Memorial Center. This is a place of remembrance and learning dedicated to the victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. It offers a powerful experience for visitors, promoting reconciliation and building peace through education. Later, do some shopping in the city in the nearby craft shops or city malls. Drive to your hotel. Evening at leisure with full use of the hotel amenities. Dinner and rest.

Day 10 : Kigali- Departure

After breakfast at the hotel, have the day at leisure, plus an early lunch or snack at the hotel, check out and get on a relaxed drive to the airport, depending on your flight details, continue to the Kigali international Airport for your outbound flight to your next destination or back home.
